It's in sight. I can see it!
Today was better. WAY better. I know you all were just so concerned about my mental stability (as is my mother), so I thought I'd post to put your minds at ease.
This is the first time today (aside from dinner) that I've had the opportunity to sit down since 8:00 this morning. My feet and back ache and it's times like this that I wish Popeye hadn't torn out the bathtub without having a new one to install immediately. Did I mention it's been over a year since the tub was removed?
But yay! Mom and Dad are staying at a hotel tomorrow night. Double yay! The hotel has a hot tub - so I can soothe my achin' bones!!!
Mr. Fantastic had a wonderful day today. I managed to find some extra money in a not-maxed-out Line of Credit, so I was able to get some things at the store. On top of a plumbing snake - because they don't rent them here in Podunkville. Blessed me! I made a cake for his "party" and I'd post pics, but it has his real name on it and I'm not cool enough to know how to Photoshop it out of there. So just envision a 9-inch round, double layer, with pudding holes, funfetti cake with white icing, chocolate sprinkles & words on it. He was thrilled. It was fine for a last minute cake. But I'm used to going all out and making Barbie doll cakes or intricate three-D Thomas the Tank Engine cakes. He was also thrilled with the gifts he received and even remembered to thank me. Awwww! I know, I'm the best mom EVUH!!!
The upstairs is clean. The downstairs is clean (aside from my cluttered desk, but that will get tackled as soon as I post this). I think I might just watch a little eye candy tonight in the form of Gerard Butler while folding a bit of laundry.

He's soooo dreamy. Don't you think?
So I'm off to enjoy a weekend with my family, celebrating Mr. Fantastic, and just not worrying that the hard work of doing EVERYTHING on my to-do list will come undone in just 12 short hours. SERENITY NOW!!!
Oh yeah, and in my previous post I used the word 'dual' instead of 'duel'. It was a long day & I really appreciate none of you pointing out my grammatical flaw. Really, thank you!

We are sharing Gerard Butler and YES he is dreamy. Good luck with the baptism and glad to hear the cake went well. I'll come visit your page just to look at him. Just kidding.
I'm so late seeing all these posts!
I know you didn't want pity, but I really feel for you from your last post, and I'm glad things turned around some.
Glad Mr. Fantastic had a good day, and if the cake was anything like I'm imagining.... MMMMMM... I bet it was fabulous! ;-)
Cheers!
