Tuesday Tip!

I'm having a hard time deciding on a tip today. It's been a long day for me & I'm now rolling out of bed from trying to take a nap. I laid there for a long time, but sleep did not come. And that always makes for a cranky mama.

So, today's tip... It was going to have something to do with raking leaves & making sure all the leaves were off the tree before raking - because that's what I did today. And then I looked up and it seems like no leaves have even fallen from the trees yet. Bah.

Or it could be a cleaning tip. One that invloves the proper way to shine your sink or freshen bathmats. But that seems boring to me right now.

So I think what I'll do is a really basic tip. Not lame like "don't spit into the wind" or something like that. But basic like, "Gee, I totally forgot about that. I should really try to keep that in mind more often!"

So, it's food related - if that piques your interest! I learned this from Martha Stewart. And even though I don't watch her show because I can't stand the sound of her voice, the woman knows what she's talking about when it comes to celery.

To keep your celery fresh and crisp, remove it from its plastic bag and wrap it in aluminum foil before putting it away. It will keep it crisp for a good week or longer past if you were to keep it in its plastic bag.

So there you go. Tuesday's tip. (I got loads of food ones, I'll have to dip into those more often!)

Woohoo! I love your tips. I didn't know that. I buy celery and it goes limp before I remember I have it. Maybe now, by the time I remember I have some, it will still be good.
