Giddy up!

Today we drove to Cheyenne.  Popeye had a meeting with a fellow sailor out there, so the younger three kids and I tagged along.
I love going to Cheyenne.  They have stores there.  YIPPEE!!!!
Do you ever get giddy?  Today, I did.  Well, technically, I still am!!!  We went to Hobby Lobby and I drooled over the fabric there before deciding on a few patterns to purchase.  See, Sara is having a baby.  In, like, 4 weeks!!!  So, aside from the little hats I've made for him, I wanted to make more.  Because I'm not pregnant and she is and it's her first pregnancy!  And that alone is cause for celebration and showering her with presents.
Anyway.  I bought some fabric to make her a little something (sans drool) and then I couldn't resist going down the yarn aisles and picking up some more yarn.  So I did.
And then we went to Michael's and I bought some pearls for Jenni because she has big plans for some photo props and pics.  And I'm going to let her practice those looks on Grand Duchess.  So cute.  And then we went to the music store and we also had lunch and I also went to Target and *gasp* walked out empty-handed. (Yay Me!)
And we got home just in time to pick up the boys from school.
I realized, after I got home that I have a few unfinished sewing projects that I should tackle before starting Sara's.  But that's alright - they can wait a few more days.
And then after I realized THAT, I realized that I have to make some referee vests for Young Women's New Beginnings on Wednesday.  So as much as I want to make those, alas, the fabric is at someone else's house and I'll just have to do them tomorrow.
So guess what I'm about to do?  YEP!  Go play with my new fabric!!!
The above mentioned Jenni has a fabulous saying on her craft room wall.  It says, "I'm a material girl. (wanna see my fabric?)"  And Jenni, if you don't mind, I so want to use that saying whenever I get my own craft room.  (Hopefully in this lifetime.)  And I hope my material stash will someday rival yours!
So, after running on the treadmill and doing Jillian's workout, I'm heading upstairs to begin my play time!
*Giggle giggle*
