Okay Friends!
Last week I did a little workshop on cleaning and organizing for the Relief Society. A question was asked, "How do you get the stink out of your bathroom?" Well, my bathrooms don't stink after I clean them, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
HOWEVER, a friend told me today what she discovered was the cause of her stinky bathroom.
She cleans the walls behind the toilet (baseboards, too) - so that wasn't the problem.
Her problem was actually her shower curtain!
I don't have a shower curtain in my bathroom so I wouldn't have even thought of that.
So she took it down, threw it in the laundry with a little bit of bleach and VOILA! A sweet smelling bathroom!
Do you have a stinky bathroom? Maybe this is the trick for you!!!
Happy cleaning Everyone!

Good tip. I like to 'refresh' our shower curtains after a while, just for the mold/mildew factor, but I never thought that it could be causing stink!
We had a stink in our bathroom a few months back. I wondered and wondered what it was, since I clean pretty regularly. One day, I found some poop had been wiped under one of the bath rugs, and I learned that one of our children was wiping there for fear of using too much toilet paper to wipe, not wanting to cause the toilet to overflow. (We had a grand overflowing a while back, and I guess she was scared to repeat it.)
Anyway. Hopefully we have it resolved, but I find myself constantly turning over bath rugs and searching the bathroom for hidden 'surprises.' ;-) One of the joys of mothering very young children - Ack!
Oh, I also wanted to say thanks so much for commenting on some of my cards over at my blog. I appreciate it! ;-)
