First day of school

I can hardly believe I'm writing this post.
Yesterday was the first day of school for the kids. We started almost a whole month after everyone else in our big circle of friends nationwide. They were so excited to be going back. Me too!!!

Mr. Fantastic is in Middle School. Oh. My. When did he get so old and big? He SO doesn't look like a little boy anymore but is growing into a handsome young man.

Optimus Prime - 3rd grade and LOVING IT so far. What a sweet boy I have.

Princess Monkey Eyes let me do her hair, didn't fight with me about wearing a sweater and was all around cheerful this morning! She's in 1st grade.

And Thor and Grand Duchess just had to get in on the picture taking action.  I'm glad to have these two home but now that "The Brothers" are gone all day, Thor tends to follow me around a lot more than usual. Sigh. Hopefully he'll get into a preschool at our new location.

I made bacon, eggs & french toast for breakfast. I burned the bacon and almost burned the french toast. But I got the lunches made and everyone to school with one minute to spare.

Yeah - I love school.
