More This & That

First off, I recieved an email from MikaRose (you remember, that website that I got the gift certificate to?). This email was promoting their Mother's Day sale that by inputting the code "mother" during checkout would allow you a 15% discount. So I went to see if there was anything new.
And I found this dress.



Cute, right? So, I bought it. And what's even better is that I'm now a size MEDIUM! WooHoo! It should be here in time for Mother's Day.

AND - I never did post about the dress I got with my gift certificate. So here's a picture of me in the "Cynthia" dress.

And last. It snowed yesterday. Seriously, it did. And not just a light dusting. The snow was blowing so badly that they shut down I-80. (They also opened it up too soon because Popeye told me that he was talking to a trucker that had an accident & when asked how fast he was going, the trucker responded, "I wasn't speeding. I was going 75." UGH!) Not only was Popeye having to deal with idiot truckers ... again and his life was in danger ... again, but my tulips suffered as well. This is what they looked like when I came home from canning today. So sad.



Yes, I realize that it is May 3rd. And Popeye blames the wintery weather on my Christmas cactuses that want to bloom in May. Yeah, like the weather patterns throughout Nebraska revolve around the blooming flowers in MY kitchen. Whatever.

Okay, NOW it's the last thing. I forgot. I got my Dyson! And I love it. And it works beautifully. And I've convinced over half of my clients to buy one, too. And one of those clients is 80 years old - her Dyson will outlive her! Dyson should pay me. But, here's my beauty in all her glory. And yes, when we're walking to Missouri I will be pushing my Dyson along, giving Thor a ride all the way!
