Tuesday Tip!

I'm going to try something new here. Every Tuesday I'm going to put up one of my cleaning tips - or any other tip that I may come across - for your pleasure. Try it out and see what you think.

Today's Tuesday Tip is:

To get the hard water ring off from around your tub or faucets, saturate some paper towels with Lime Away or CLR and stick to the area needing to be cleaned. Let it set for 30 mintues. Spray on more of the cleaner and let it set again for another 30 minutes. Then remove, scrub with a scouring pad/scrub brush/toothbrush and rinse REEEEEALLY well. Then dry with a soft cloth.
(For shower heads: fill a plastic baggie 1/2 way with CLR and attach to your shower head with a rubber band. Let it sit there for at least an hour before scrubbing & rinsing.)

Oh good tips. I get hard water all the time, and just use wetwipes. I don't think it's the alcohol, because the kind I buy doesn't have alcohol in them. This will work great for my shower head. I like Tuesdays now.:)

My tip for removing soap scum and hard water stains is to beg Jason to clean the shower/bathtub! I knew those muscles would be good for something!

PS. Totally non-related, but how did you change the "- Comments" at the end of your posts to "- People Want To Lick My Face?" I've been trying to figure it out, to no avail. Thanks! Any help is appreciated.
