I *heart* tax season!

Now, most people I know can't say that. My parents being some. They always have to pay taxes.

Not us. We always get a FAT refund. And I mean FAT, not PHAT. Well, it's phat - but it's always huge, too!

This year we're getting the most we've ever gotten before. (Think close to 5 digits.) I'm so happy. This gives us the opportunity to pay off some debt (blech!), stock up on food storage (which is lacking greatly) & purchase some much needed items (hello Dyson!).

We already got the little refund back last week. The big one should be here this Friday & then it will all be gone within 2 weeks, I'm sure. Isn't that always the way? But along with the cash being gone, so will the burdens of debt & temporal preparedness.

So here's to you, Tara my tax lady! Thank you for knowing the loop holes & only charging me $65! I love you!

I too love tax season. We got back a nice fat return as well.

I found your blog from Mormon Mommy Wars.

I love your Book of Mormon progress chart. Great way to keep track!

Holy Tax Return, Batman!!!

We often even out each year. DH is an accountant, so he tries to finagle it every year so that the IRS doesn't have much of our money in their coffers to make interest off while we make nothing.

It's a whole big accountant thing - I just let him have his fun.

Glad to hear you have good use for the extra funds! Sounds like a great year! :D

P.S. - I am so jealous about the Dyson thing...
