Seriously, my tear ducts are on overdrive today - in a good way.
For the first time in a LONG time I'm feeling a bit of hope with our financial situation. Hope in the sense that not only is there a light at the end of the tunnel, but that it isn't too late for us to get to that light. It's a feeling that I never thought I'd feel - and it feels great!
Not just that, either. A little birdie stopped by to give Optimus Prime a new winter coat. Popeye thinks the one he has is just fine. And it is - except that it DOESN'T ZIP! (Kinda a pre-requisite for a functioning winter coat in these climates.) So to that sister (you know who you are), you are an angel and I so appreciate you!!!
And that other sister that I saw today (you know who you are), thank you for helping me find that peace that I've been needing in my life. Thank you for being an answer to my prayers!
Darn - tears streaming, can't see the screen, need to pull myself together!!!
'Tis the season. Merry Christmas everyone! Now, go do something nice for someone else!

those are happy tears. Yeah !!!Go cry..
Aww how sweet! I'm so happy for you! It's amazing what people can be moved upon by the Spirit to do for you. We had a similar experience two Christmases ago.
And I completely understand your financial feelings. My husband is joining the army and we have tons of student loans from his first 1.5 years of school (we lived off of them like all the dental students in his parents ward... somehow it worked for them and not us) but I can't wait until January when I can tell those student loan people "talk to the army". That is one of our best benefits. They pay off up to $65,000 in student loans. That is just about the amount we have too (we lived in southern california at the time... believe me we still struggled to get by on that amount).
Anyway here's some happy thought heading your way for only positive things! Have a great day!
