Again?!

Let me give you the down-low of the past 24 hours.

Thor loves toilets and has found a fascination with flushing things - ANYTHINGS - down them. This has caused a major flood in the upstairs bathroom that has found drainage into the downstairs bathroom.
He has attempted getting rid of shoes, jammies, toys and toilet paper multiple times using the toilet. It has not been pleasant.

Mr. Fantastic claimed to have "bumped his head" on the bottom of the bunk bed, thus causing the top bunk to come down at an angle onto the bottom bunk. Popeye was at work & being in the "condition" that I am in (borderline psychotic & 8 1/2 months pregnant) I had a girlfriend come over and help me put the mattresses back where they are supposed to be.

Thor turned two today. He again played in the toilet. And while I was at the store this morning, I was called on my cell phone requesting the purchase of a refrigerator lock. Apparently Thor got into the caramel sauce. And then after that he got into the pantry, took out a box of brownie mix & snuck into my closet. Popeye knew it was too quiet and went in search of Thor & found him attempting to open the bag of luscious, powdery goodness.
He also mutilated his birthday cake while no one was looking.

And then tonight, I was washing dishes upstairs and Optimus Prime came running in telling me that bathroom (downstairs) was completely flooded and was spilling out into the hallway.
Water was everywhere and it was coming up through the shower drain.
I called Popeye at work, frantic, and he came home.

He is still working on it and I am afraid that replacement of the carpet is inevitable at this point.

I'm having some girlies over tonight for some Gerard Butler eye candy and ice cream & Popeye told me to still have my time with them. He so sweet.

I'm not looking forward to clean-up though.

Why do these plumbing problems haunt us? I'm getting tired of it, really.
I wish my mom were home - she makes me laugh at this stuff...

I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh, but it sounds like something my 2 two year olds would do. Yesterday it was yogurt and syrup on the coffee table, carpet and video case (yes, we have a fridge lock, but one got smart on how to open it). You have all of my sympathy and then some! From one pregnant mom of a 2 year old to the other...love ya and remember...this too shall pass.:D

Oh boy! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TWO'S!!!! ALL of my kids were pro's when it came to that age! I am so sorry...especially with being in the physical state you are in right now! I PROMISE however that you will look back and chuckle at this journal blog...it just may take a while! Good luck sweety, time to child-proof EVERYTHING! BTW, we just had to SUPER glue all of our child safety handles to the doors because Rachel now knows how to take them apart and take off out of the house...super SCARY!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday, Thor! Looks like he's entering the "terrible twos" with a bang. :)
