Oh happy day!

Have you ever had one of those days where it just turns out right in the end? Did the day start out being less than desirable or did the Gods smile down on you throughout the day?

Today the Gods smiled down on me.
Smile #1: I got decent sleep last night. Duchess (for 3 nights in a row now) has been going for 8 hour stretches before needing to eat. Bliss!
Smile #2: I got to sleep in. (To some, sleeping in is considered past 9 a.m. For me, it's past 6:30.)
Smile #3: I drove to my doctor's appointment for my 6 week post check up and stopped at the knock-off Home Depot on my way to see about a tub. I love hardware stores and could spend hours in there if I had the time, money & energy.
Smile #4: I bought a tub for HALF THE PRICE of the tub at Home Depot. AND I brought it home!!! Granted I had to undo the bench and push it against the front seats and have Duchess sit shotgun, but I got the tub into the van and home!
Smile #5: I went to Target. (more bliss!)
Smile #6: After discussing birth control with my doctor and a phone call, I found out that Medicare will cover the IUD if I get it before April 1st. Doctor is squeezing me in on the 30th.
Smile #7: Dinner was a success and ice cream was the reward.
Smile #8: My headache is minimal right now and I learned some techniques to help keep my sinuses clear.
Smile #9: Popeye pulled me over on my way home from the doctor just to say hi and give me a kiss. (I always love to kiss him when he's on duty. It makes people do double takes and I think it's funny!)

Anyway. The kids are all sleeping. The laundry is folded. Bobby Flay is issuing a throw down in the background. Now I need to find a blade for my paper cutter or my cards won't be made in the morning. Hmmm - where did Thor put that? I have half a mind to go to the store, buy some pre-made cards, cut the front of the card off and apply it to my own card. Is that bad?

So today was a good day. My highlight? I HAVE A TUB!!!! I HAVE A TUB!!!! Doesn't that just make you want to breakout in a happy dance? Ooooh, dance with me! This SO deserves a 'woot woot!'!!!
