This 'n That

I've never felt so busy!!! And yet, I don't think I've ever had more downtime.

Today Duchess is 1 month old. I know, right!? It's ALREADY been a month. It's gone by quickly. Only 2 more weeks until we start training her to sleep through the night!!! I look forward to that day with great earnest!

Yesterday we got a large dumpster dropped off in our driveway and Popeye started to finish the demo on the bathroom! He has 2 1/2 full walls completely down. Today he'll finish tearing down the walls and take out the sink. And then we'll go and get the supplies to finish it! I am SOOO excited! It's been a year and a half since he tore out the bathtub. Do you remember those pics? Do you remember that I was gone scrapbooking with friends and came home to a torn apart bathroom? It's finally getting done! I'm so happy!

Popeye has a lot of training to do this month for work. His work schedule is completely goofy this month and I'll be dragging my kids to almost everything! Including "Time Out For Women" in Denver. Lovely grandmother that my mom is, she will be watching the 4 older ones while Duchess and I try to have some spiritual uplifting. I got my tickets with 12 other ladies from my ward but I won't be able to sit with them because I'm nursing. I'm a little torqued about that, but as Popeye says, "You're going to listen to the speakers, not talk with your friends." While this is true, it's still nice to sit with your friends. I am really looking forward to the speakers, though. And the kids are looking forward to seeing their cousins and Grammy & Papa. (Popeye will be at drill... again.)

My birthday is this month (the 21st). Be looking for a special giveaway post about that!

Cards for card group are due in 2 weeks. I just found out what the theme is and so now I have to get those put together. I also have to:
- Go through the 2 boxes that I put everything in & walked away from.
- Pay the bills.
- Sort through the junk that got moved from the bathroom to the living room.
- Make something for the potluck luncheon tomorrow.
- Mail those thank you cards that are sitting on my desk (in a separate box).
- Fold the laundry.

I better get started...

Holy smokes!

Glad to hear the bathroom project will be moving along.

I love lists! Checking something off a list is almost as fun and finishing one.

Why do I find myself ALWAYS so tired after reading your posts about what you need to do for the day???? SHEESH!

I cannot believe your little sweetheart is a month old...where did the last month go??? It is so sad how time seems to fly when you have a little one??? For me, that is when I wish that time would just stand still!

Anyhow, have a great time at your Women's Conference..I am sure it will still be WONDERFUL even though you don't get to sit with your friends, boo!
