Tuesday Tip!

I really don't like the snow. And I REALLY don't like snow days. I was never able to benefit from a snow day when I was in Colorado. Neither did Popeye.

For two days now all of us have been cooped up here at home because of snow days.
Go ahead - ask me how much snow fell. Yesterday? ZERO INCHES!!! Today? Not much more. Sure the wind was howling and gusts were crazy. But to me, that doesn't constitute a snow day.

Here's the tip. If you love snow days, move to Nebraska. They love to issue them, even if it isn't snowing. But if you're like me and want your kids in school (and a break from them), move to Alaska. They don't have snow days. Trust me, one of my dearest friends lives there and she told me so.

Time to go make some nice, warm chowder.

Or if you want to avoid snow all together, move to sunny FL. It's a breezy, balmy 75 degrees today!

we don't have snow here in CA. I don't want to end up on the black list because of Twilight. :)

no more snow days!! There wasn't even snow to call it a snow day. Wind days don't constitute no school...right? Hoping for school tomorrow!! I might just drop mine off...even if the teachers aren't there! :)

We occasionally get snow here. When we do, everyone gets out of school (or work...) and wanders around outside saying, "It's snowing!" even though the snow melts the moment it touches the ground. :-) Gotta love AZ!
