Just what I needed to hear - er - read!

(I was going to blog a tag that I received from the Pezlady, but I have yet to finish that list - so until I do, here's something for you to read until I can become creative enough to post it.)

Tiffany over there at Tiffany's Tickles gave me the most SUPER award EVER!!! Okay, it's the most super today because I'm feeling mighty proud of myself lately.

See, we all know that Popeye was off being the sailor that he is for a couple of weeks and during that time, I trained Princess Monkey Eyes. And I trained her, good. We had a rough few days before she finally realized that the gig was up and that she wasn't going to manipulate anymore. And then Popeye came home. And he followed up with all that I had done to show her that he wasn't going to be a push-over (too much) anymore. He still has his moments of weakness where he says "Go ask your mom", but all in all, he's really bucked up against his sweet daughter.

Not only did I train Princess ME to show a little more respect, but every one of the kids survived the 2 weeks without their father. We had a major breakdown one day (as some of you know), but we pulled through, stuck together & we made it. Laundry was always finished, the house was cleaned by all, the fighting was minimal, and the world still rotates! Imagine that!

So when Tiffany gave me this super mom award, I really just want to shout & say,

"I TOTALLY DESERVE IT, TOO! I'VE WORKED TOO HARD AND I'M FINALLY SEEING SOME GREAT RESULTS! YAY ME!!! I'M DOING SOMETHING RIGHT, FINALLY!!"

So, thanks Tiffany! This award totally made my day!
