November is supposed to be WHAT?!

Today the radio DJ said it was "unseasonably warm" outside.

On average, here in my neck of the woods, the temperature ranges in the lower 50's upper 40's with some colder days in there, too. Snow even.

Today it was 80 degrees. No, that's not a typo. It seriously was GORGEOUS outside. Popeye even took pity on my growing inability to maintain my equilibrium and got on the ladder to finish painting the trim on the front of the house. And we took the kids to the playground where Mr. Fantastic beat Popeye at tether ball 2 out of 3 times and Thor got a kick out of putting rocks on the slide and then sliding through them.
I took pictures, but am too tired to post them right now. Sorry.

So, is it just me, or does it seem like 'Mother Nature' is confused with her seasons. Wildfires in California (so NOT wildfire season). We're experiencing summer temperatures. Anyone else out there have some funky weather going on?

It's supposed to be 83 degrees here today, although for Arizona that's not really that weird. :-) Usually it's cooler by now, but not always. Maybe this whole global warming thing has some merit after all... ;-)

We usually have snow, but it's a nice t-shirt kind of day high 60's-mid70's. Weird! I agree with the global warming thing.

Um, it seems like we're right on cue here - just freakishly cold. Okay, it's not freakishly cold, per se. I think it's just me. Cold is cold is cold, is freakishly cold! - to me.

And uh, teatherball?? I thought we Napoleon Dynamite watchers were the only ones who play teatherball. Glad to hear we're not alone. ;-)
