Tonight half of my ward drove down south (40+ miles) to go see Twilight.
Not me. Not interested.
You know what I'm doing tonight? I'm dying my hair. That's right. I'm pregnant and I'm dying my hair. And because I'm dying my hair, baby #5 will come out with 3 eyes, 5 arms and 12 toes. I can handle that.
No, in all seriousness - we're having family pictures taken tomorrow and my hair color seriously needed some updating. I don't remember the last time I got my hair dyed, but it was long enough to grow out down to my ears. So the top part of my head was a natural brown, the bottom half a lighter brown. Couldn't have THAT in my family pics.
If I had more money, I'd go to a girlfriend who's a hair stylist - but since I don't have the money, I bought a kit at VoldeMart and just finished rinsing my hair of step one. Now I'll let it air dry for a while and then attempt to put some subtle highlights in it. Hopefully it will turn out okay. I've never had a botched home-dye job before - so I don't see why it wouldn't turn out all right.
But there's a first time for everything, right? I'll post pics when I'm done, unfortunately I didn't take before pics. Oh well, take my word for it - it really needed help!

Twilight? I don't think so.

wish I was at Twilight!!! If you'd read the books you'd want to go!
And...I dyed my hair all throughout 2 pregnancies and obviously they are still pretty cute kids. It is an old wive's tale anyway! I have always done my own too, with hair kits from W-Mart. Easy, peasy!
Good luck at family pictures! I need to order my UBER LARGE pictures for my wall, yeah!
I asked my prego friend who is a hair stylist if that wives tale was true, and she said absolutely NOT! All the stuff is so natural now that it can't hurt the baby. Maybe back in the day of our mothers which would explain a lot.:)
Can't wait to see pictures. I, in college, did a botched job. My hair turned out a nice shade of purpley-black instead of the nice auburn the box said it was supposed to. Well, college is for fun, right?:)
I just got home from seeing Twilight for the second time. I loooved it!
I'm not seeing Twilight either. I didn't think much of the books, so I figure I won't enjoy the movie. :-) I think I'd rather dye my hair than watch the quasi-creepy romance unfold...
