I'm here visiting the in-laws this weekend while Popeye is at drill.
Suzy-Q (mother-in-law) told me to leave the kids and go into town to go shopping today.
Gladly.
The stores I went in to (mainly to try and find a few pregnancy shirts) included Old Navy, Target, Macy's and Motherhood Maternity. I also went to JoAnn's and almost bought a bunch of fabric for #5's baby blankets.
Can I tell you something.
I hate shopping now.
Target only had a black cami for me.
Old Navy and Macy's don't have maternity sections.
Motherhood is ridiculously overpriced.
I came home feeling defeated and secretly wishing I had bought some of that "Dead Sea Salt Scrub" from the guy with an accent at the kiosk in the mall. At least my skin would feel soft...
I just can't justify spending $40 on a sweater that I'm going to wear for the next 3 months and then never again. I just can't do it.
And I get the Gapmaternity.com emails telling me all about their sales...yadda yadda yadda. CUTE clothes, don't get me wrong. Just can't justify spending the mulah.
But it looks like Internet shopping is the way I'm going to have to go for this pregnancy. Hope it all fits!

Who needs shopping when there's the internet?

Are there any ladies where you live who would be willing to lend you theirs? I know sometimes women in our RS will do stuff like that. That's the only idea I can think of.
You are welcome to borrow some of my stuff. I have a hard time spending money on stuff you wear for such a short time, too.
